Interact Health Management

Meta today announced the management buy-out of Interact Health Management (“IHM”), the market leading occupational health business, from Swiss Life (UK) Limited.

The management buy-out was led by Chris Fry who has become sole shareholder. Chris said “The MBO was complicated by the background of the closure of Swiss Life’s business in the UK and hence the need to negotiate with the holding company in Zurich. I worked closely with a very professional advisory team from start to finish."

Mark Ledger-Beadell, Managing Director of Meta, said: “Chris is an entrepreneur who saw an opportunity to take hold of his own destiny and buy the business he was running. A regular purchaser of professional advice as ex CFO of Swiss Life, Chris turned to local advisers, myself and James Beatton, to work with him throughout the process.
